Apple is planning to sell Macbooks with their own chipset by next year. Chip design will be similar to the ones used on iPhones and iPad according to the report by Bloomberg suggests.
The company is working to build three mac processors which will be based on A14 in the next gen iPhone. Moreover, it gives a hint that Apple may not use Intel processors infact use their own chip. Intel was one of the suppliers for Apple chips since 2006. Last year company bought a majority of Intel modem business.
Apple was previously looking to come up with their own chips in the beginning of this year – as per the report in 2018.
